Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 clearly articulated organization-wide goals
  • Meeting facilitation of leadership team to discuss and agree upon goals
  • Note: This project does not include specific tactics to achieve goals
Additional details

We are looking for a volunteer to help us write our 3-year strategic plan! Our leadership team, which consists of our CEO, Director of Curriculum, and Director of Programs, is looking for some guidance to create both and external and internal plan for growth.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a basic outline of our goals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a leadership team to collaborate with, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,620 , allowing us to focus on providing free programming to underresourced youth in the Bay Area.

Our goal is to bridge the tech divide, especially in the tech capital of the world-San Francisco. To communicate our goals effectively, we need a fresh pair of eyes to help us create our strategic plan.

Our mission

Mission Bit is dedicated to inspiring and empowering students to unlock their full potential. We build professional pathways for under resourced high school youth across the SF Bay Area by making computer science more accessible through our free project-based courses.

What we do

Mission Bit provides free after-school coding courses, workshops, and summer bootcamps to high school students from underserved and underrepresented communities. We offer our students a field trip to a Bay Area tech company, career and college advising related to the technology field, and an opportunity to showcase their group projects to a large community of supporters during our Demo Day event at the end of the term.

Our program's inclusive community fosters positive relationships between students, their peers, and our experienced classroom leaders. Mission Bit brings like-minded individuals together to form long-lasting meaningful connections and gives students all the tools they need to succeed in the tech industry.

Testimonials

Working with Eric over the course of a year was an incredibly valuable experience for our small organization. Eric's expertise and guidance helped us to solidify our organizational goals and see the bigger picture from a new perspective. As a volunteer, Eric was always willing to go above and beyond to support us. His insights and advice challenged us to think differently and expand our understanding of what was possible for our organization. Eric's ability to explain complex concepts in a way that was accessible and easy to understand was a huge asset, and he was always patient and supportive as we worked through difficult challenges.
