What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We need a WordPress developer to update and transition our website to a new WordPress theme while optimizing it for goal conversions and SEO. We are looking for somebody who will join the team for the long run and be able to jump in to help out in any areas we need support in. You will need advanced WordPress experience.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a volunteer trainer who will train you and answer questions, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an established remote work environment and tech stack, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to continue operating on a shoestring budget.

This project will make the website user-friendly, which will allow us to more readily publish stories and expand our programming. By creating a more user-friendly interface we'll have the ability to grow our platform so that we can reach more people and offer them our services to develop and share their personal stories of post-traumatic growth from mental health experiences.

  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
